Collison Festival of Lights – This is a Must!

The Collison family has not sold their home yet so the annual Festival of Lights will go on! This year may be their last so if you haven’t been, then you are surely missing out on one of the area’s most unique displays of Christmas cheer.

Opening Day is Thanksgiving Day (November 28, 2013) at 6:00 PM.

This is an annual event¬† for our family and after visiting we’re positive it will be for your family as well. Be sure to drive slow, there’s so much going on here that you won’t want to miss a detail.

This is a FREE event but donations are accepted.

Here is a video posted by the Collison family a few years ago, just to give you a taste. They add new displays every year. Enjoy!

There is no charge to drive through and view the lights. However, there is a donation box if you wish to contribute funds to help cover the cost of electricity. Have fun!

I just wanted to let you know last night was the first time I was able to visit your Festival of Lights and I have to say, you sir have done an AMAZING Job. I am saddened that this could possibly be the last year, but I still wish you success in selling your home and wish you and your family a safe and Merry Christmas!

I plan on taking my wife, 7-month old son, and my Mother-In-Law along with me tonight so that they can also enjoy this spectacular array of Christmas Lights.

Just wondering with the strong winds if this is going to be happening tonight?

I am Peggy Collison. The Festival of Lights is my house. This annual light display is my families Christmas gift to all of you. We are hoping to sell our home but if it is not sold my next year then the light display will be on again. If we do sell, I hope the new owner keeps the tradition.

Thank you very much Peggy for the wonderful annual display, our family looks forward to it every year. Also, I’m willing to make you a deal on the house. You give my large family the home, and we’ll keep the light show going. Ha!

Thanks again and I hope you have a fantastic new year!

    The dates of operation please.

  8. Jen W

I also would like to know the dates of operation – do they continue into the New Year as the Wildlights do? It’s been a busy year up and we haven’t been over to see these lights yet!
